Tucked away in the tranquil surroundings of Windsor, this bathroom redesign was all about creating a peaceful sanctuary — a place to unwind, refresh, and escape from the rush of everyday life. The homeowners wanted a space that blended modern elegance with a spa-like sense of serenity, and at Jago Interiors, we set out to achieve exactly that.
The design reflects a calm and minimalist aesthetic, using natural materials, soft tones, and ambient lighting to evoke comfort and balance. Every element — from the tiles to the fixtures — was chosen to enhance the feeling of relaxation while maintaining a refined, timeless look.
Design Approach
Our approach began with a focus on layout and light. The existing space felt enclosed, so we reconfigured the plan to create a more open and airy flow. By introducing a freestanding bathtub as the focal point and adding a walk-in shower with frameless glass panels, the bathroom now feels spacious and inviting.
We selected a palette of warm neutrals, stone textures, and brushed brass finishes to achieve a soothing yet sophisticated atmosphere. The custom vanity unit, crafted from oak with a quartz surface, adds a natural warmth and subtle luxury to the room.
Lighting design played a crucial role — concealed LED strips and soft wall sconces create layers of light that can shift from bright and functional to calm and ambient, depending on the time of day.
